Jim King
President and Chief Investment Officer
Jim King was born and raised in suburban Philadelphia, and later raised his own family there. A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Jim pursued a career in the investment industry with several brokerage firms. In 1989 he was hired by Meridian Asset Management where he led the Philadelphia investment team, then in 1994 joined National Penn Bank where he helped establish Investors Trust Company, a limited purpose bank offering trust services, and later Institutional Advisors LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser. After National Penn was acquired by BB&T in 2016 Jim continued to serve as the firm’s chief investment officer. He left BB&T following the bank’s merger with SunTrust and is excited to apply his experience to now offer clients a unique investment relationship at Lindenwold Advisors, INC.
